WordPress BLOG theme for Vanderbilt
Today we’re releasing a secondary version of the Vanderbilt WordPress Theme – this one is blog-centric.
The BLOG THEME has all the same features of the main VU theme – but the homepage, archive pages, navigation and sidebar are geared towards a blog website and not a departmental / information website.
It relies heavily on FEATURED IMAGE selection for each blog post. If a featured image isn’t specified – a generic paper/pen icon will appear with your post. This is a good opportunity for you to add some color and interest to your blog postings though!
Your blog’s categories are displayed in a dropdown in the top navigation – and the tags are displayed in a cloud in the right sidebar.
