How to Delete Documents and Images in Omni 10

To delete an image or document (Word file, PDF, JPG, etc):

  1. Log in to your website in Omni.
  2. Click on PAGES at the top.
  3. Click the PRODUCTION tab on the right (we need to delete the files from the live server).
  4. Browse to the file you wish to delete. Double check that you you are in the right folder and you have the correct files selected. Deleting files from the server is permanent, so make absolutely sure. Once deleted, these files can’t be recovered.
  5. Hover over the row with the file you want to delete and click delete.
  6. You will be presented with a confirmation screen. As a precaution, you are asked to type the word “delete” to confirm and then click the Delete button.
  7. Confirm you want to delete the file.
  8. A prompt at the bottom will display showing that your file has been deleted.

To delete multiples files at once:

  1. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.
  2. Click the checkbox to the left of all the files you want to delete.
  3. Then click on the DELETE button at the top. This will delete all the files you have checked.
  4. You will be presented with a confirmation screen. As a precaution, you are asked to type the word “delete” to confirm and then click the Delete button.
  5. Confirm you want to delete the file.

A prompt at the bottom will display showing that your file has been deleted

Keep in mind – when you delete files on the PRODUCTION server (which is where all images, docs, pdfs, etc are always stored), they are PERMANENTLY deleted. You will not be able to recover them.
