Using your vunetid for the first time with Omni
We are pleased to announce that we can now use VUnetID and E-Password with our OmniUpdate content management system.
The first time you attempt to login to your Omni-managed website after we have enabled this for your site, you will need to do a few things.
A screen will appear asking you to verify the entity you are logging in with. Choose VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY from the dropdown.
Then choose REMEMBER PERMANENTLY below that — so you won’t have to do this step again.
When you click NEXT — you’ll be brought to a Vanderbilt looking page where you will login with your vunetid and epassword (NOT the password you were using for Omni previously — unless you had set that password to be your epassword.)
From this point on — you will always just login with your VUnetID and E-Password. You should not have to do the first steps again.
