How do you say…new website? A new look for the English Language Center

Posted by on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Launch.

Vanderbilt’s English Language Center (ELC) plays a critical role in helping international students become successful in their academic careers and beyond. We were happy to help when they contacted us to help them move their site from Drupal to Omni. We enjoyed working to redesign the center’s website to give international students and scholars the support and resources they need online.

We worked with the center to select their ideal color scheme, added phonetic characters to the banner, created a special sidebar layout for the homepage, and included a University Calendar feed to display important dates. All content and resources offered by the ELC are now easily accessible from the homepage or navigation tabs – including English Language Tips and the various programs offered through the center.

We’d like to thank Patrick Nitch at the ELC for collaborating with us on this project.
