Alliance for Community Engagement launches new program and new website
The Alliance for Community Engagement is a network of faculty and staff across Vanderbilt interested in and committed to collaborating with the community on research and learning. A relatively new group – founded in the fall of 2010 – the alliance was in need of a Web presence.
We created site for them in Omni, and created a special feed to pull their events from the University Calendar into their site. We also created a Google map for them to track examples of community involvement, and a form for people to submit examples to the map.
Thanks to the incredibly efficient Tiffany Israel and Kate Derrick for making this such a successful project!
