House Organ magazine launches WordPress site
House Organ is the magazine for the staff, faculty, volunteers, and students of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. It is published monthly by the Office of News and Public Affairs of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Previously a manually built website, the site is now housed in WordPress.
Issue archives are automatically generated, the jquery slideshow is built based on featured images within articles, and the various sections of the site are organized using categories. Users can also subscribe to an email notification that will let them know when new articles have been posted.
The Google Search Appliance has been configured to search three separate locations of House Organ archives – so you can search back issues from 2002 to present.
