Registrar redesigns, moves to WordPress
Web Communications built a new website for the University Registrar in WordPress, which launched December 28, 2010. It was the first redesign and redevelopment for the site since 1997!
Staff had been manually maintaining their website using Dreamweaver. We migrated all of the current pages over to WordPress, cleaned up the navigation and added search functionality so users can quickly and easily find the information they seek.
Once we migrated over the existing content to WP, we trained Karen Whittier to update the site and create new pages. They’re now maintaining their site and enjoying the goodness that is WordPress :)
Working with University Registrar Cheng Koo, Karen Whittier and Roslyn Mitchell was a pleasure. Their office handles so much information that is critical to the university community and they always have to think of absolutely everything when posting schedules, catalog information, etc. They do it all with a great attitude and calm demeanor.
